The Bays...
Port Philip Bay. - Sandringham, St Kilda, Mornington and Sorrento
Surrounded by beach front cafes, secluded beaches and
cliff features, filled with a profusion of wildlife (penguins, dolphins
and seals), wetlands and many sites of historical significance (including
half submerged warships and submarines), it is easy to overlook as it is
so close the heart of Melbourne.
Once out on the bay and away from the city bustle, the sea kayaker can
escape from it all and discover a new world. The penguin rookery at St.
Kilda is a two minute paddle from busy Fitzroy St at dusk.
Westernport Bay.
Bounded by the Mornington Peninsular and Philip Is. with
French Is as its "jewel in the crown" this body of water provides
one of the best opportunities to come close to nature. Renowned for its
wetlands and sensitive ecological features it really is the place where
every sea kayaker can silently ..take their memories, photos and NOT
leave any footprints..

Located just 200 kms from Melbourne, Wilson's Promontory
(affectionately known as "The Prom") is the Mecca of Victorian sea kayaking.
White sandy beaches, granite islands, remote camping sites and breathtaking
scenery make this one of the best places to indulged yourself in a "get
away" adventure. The Prom as a national park of world class status is protected
from over development and the so the number of visitors is limited.
Camp out under the stars, explore secluded rocky coves
and spectacular coastal headlands.
Land on white sandy beaches backing onto a green canopy of
fern-filled gullies, Banksia woodland and rainforest.
With it's multitude of hidden coves, beaches, bays and islands,
the Prom is an ideal destination for sea kayakers.
Due to the rugged nature of the coastline and limited land
access, sea kayakers are perhaps the only visitors to the
park who can experience the coast in all its splendour.

Road is one the most spectacular destinations in Australia. With the ocean

The ocean road by sea kayak is even more breathtaking taking in Torquay
